Position Overview:

As a Business Development Representative, you will be a key player in 4M’s growth strategy. You will be responsible for identifying and creating new business opportunities by reaching out to potential clients, building strong relationships, and promoting our product within the construction industry. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, contribute to the company's success, and advance your career in sales and business development.

What You’ll Do:

  • Identify potential clients and generate leads through research, cold calling, email outreach, and networking.
  • Qualify leads to ensure they meet our ideal customer profile and have a genuine interest in our offerings.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of 4M’s products to potential clients through presentations, meetings, and demonstrations.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with prospects, understand their needs, and tailor solutions to address their specific challenges.
  • Maintain a well-organized sales pipeline and CRM system to track leads, opportunities, and interactions.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute strategic business development plans and campaigns.
  • Stay informed about construction industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Provide regular reports on your sales activities, progress, and results to management

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • Desire to pursue a career in sales
  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or a related role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven attitude.
  • Coachable and ability to digest feedback and adapt to overcome challenges
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.

Bonus Points For:

  • 1+ years of experience in SaaS, especially software sales
  • Construction industry experience, especially with a general contractor or Owner
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
