Our Consumer Protection team is growing, and we are looking for a Senior Legal Advisor to join the team.

We are a leading Legal Tech company specializing in identifying and analyzing public data to uncover legal consumer violations, aiming to establish class action lawsuits. Our mission is to protect consumers and generate significant revenue through strategic litigation. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Attorney with expertise in consumer protection litigation to join our dynamic team.

Job Overview:

The Senior Legal Advisor will play a pivotal role in directing our team of Legal Intelligence Analysts on various aspects of consumer protection class action lawsuits. This includes calculating damages, evaluating the strength and validity of legal claims, determining the RoI for potential cases, and assessing the impact on classes of consumers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in litigation, particularly in consumer protection (false advertising, product defect, nationwide claims, and more). This role will help shape the technology and strategy in advancing our revolutionary legal tech product.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritize consumer violations that are legally strong and have significant revenue potential.
  • Evaluate the validity and strength of legal claims to establish consumer protection class actions.
  • Provide expert knowledge on the procedures of consumer class actions, such as the criteria for certifying nationwide classes.
  • Assist the team in identifying new legal areas of violations and creating new streams of legal acts.
  • Leading complex legal research in order to address legal questions.
  • Advise on the calculation of damages in consumer protection class action lawsuits.
  • Assess the RoI and feasibility of pursuing specific cases.
  • Determine the extent of damages affecting classes of consumers.
  • Maintain regular communication with the team located in Tel Aviv, ensuring seamless collaboration and strategic alignment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in consumer protection litigation in the United States, with a focus on class action lawsuits.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex legal claims.
  • Excellent understanding of damage calculations and ROI assessments in litigation.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams and remote collaboration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong ethical standards and commitment to protecting consumer rights.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with client facing experience

  • Darrow provides a reasonable range of compensation. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of pay for this role is $190,000-230,000
