By automatically connecting to thousands of external data sources and leveraging machine learning to distill the most impactful signals, the Explorium platform empowers data scientists and business leaders to drive decision-making by eliminating the barrier to acquire the right data and enabling superior predictive power.
We are looking for an experienced, passionate data scientist to join our Client Facing Data Science team . \In this role, you’ll be relied on to interface directly with our clients and prospects, and guide them through data science initiatives from end to end. You’ll develop predictive models, discover hidden connections between client and external data sources, and communicate the insights to our clients. You’ll be exposed to a wide variety of clients across multiple industries (fintech, marketing, real estate, and more), and will be solving tough, real-world business problems using the latest ML models, feature selection algorithms, and MLOps technologies.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Present and demonstrate Explorium’s product to prospective clients - both technical and non-technical executives
- Identify pain points in customers current data stack, scope solutions that can show clear business value while maximizing Explorium’s capabilities
- Design use case objectives and success criteria, with an understanding of our capabilities and client needs
- Develop data-based solutions and predictive models to address the business objectives of our clients, both during the proof-of-concept phase and as part of ongoing engagements.
- Connect experience on Explorium’s platform and user feedback to product teams, driving feature enhancements based on customer demand and impact on the company’s growth
Basic Qualifications:
- CompSci or related STEM degrees
- 2 Years of experience in Data Science or Data Analyst
- Proficiency in Python, SQL
- Data Analysis tools such as Pandas, Scikit-Learn, Plotly
- Experience in working with large, complex datasets and converting it into actionable insights.
- Eager to get hands-on experience in a variety of use cases and industries
- Ability to present also in English to all levels of the organization, from ICs to the C-Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in pre-sales, consulting, and/or customer-facing roles - presenting value propositions to business-oriented personas
- Experience with building datasets - leveraging web scraping , API automation and entity resolution
- Hands-on experience in Databricks & Pyspark to develop ETL.
- Experience with BI tools(Tableau/PowerBI), cloud solutions (AWS/GCP)
- Previous experience working with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers
- Experience with production-grade software development
- Salary range- $80K/yr - $120K/yr
