SCRUM Master – Blattner Technologies

Location: Vadodara, India

Job Summary:
As a Scrum Master, you will facilitate the day-to-day activities of our Agile development teams and lead initiatives to enhance team efficiency and product delivery. This role is crucial for ensuring that our Agile processes support effective business operations and adapt to the evolving needs of our projects and stakeholders. You will play a key role in fostering a collaborative and productive team environment, helping the team to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Agile Processes: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective and productive Scrum ceremonies.
• Remove Impediments: Identify and eliminate obstacles that hinder the team's progress to maintain momentum and productivity.
• Coach and Mentor: Guide the team in Agile/Scrum practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and self-organization.
• Support Product Owner: Assist in managing the product backlog and ensuring the team understands project goals and deliverables.
• Enhance Communication: Act as a liaison between the development team and stakeholders, ensuring clear, transparent, and effective communication.
• Track and Report Progress: Monitor team performance using metrics like burn-down charts and velocity, providing regular updates to stakeholders.

Required Skills:

• Agile and Scrum Expertise: Deep understanding of Agile principles and Scrum framework, supported by certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM), with advanced certifications preferred.
• Facilitation and Communication: Excellent facilitation skills for Scrum ceremonies and meetings, along with strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively convey complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Coaching and Mentoring: Proven experience in coaching and mentoring team members and stakeholders in Agile practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
• Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution: Strong problem-solving skills to identify and remove impediments, along with effective conflict resolution abilities to mediate and resolve team conflicts.
• Stakeholder and Team Management: Ability to manage stakeholder relationships, adapt to changing project requirements, build high-performing teams, and proficiently use project management tools like Jira, Trello, or Confluence.

Qualifications

• Experience: 7 or more years of experience in a Scrum Master or Agile Project Management role.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Certifications: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification required. Advanced certifications such as Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) are highly desirable.
• Agile Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of Agile principles, Scrum framework, and other Agile methodologies.

Job Type: Full time, Remote

Compensation Range: INR: ₹1,300,000 - ₹1,600,000 per year
